Job summary

Kingston College's Creative Industries Centre is seeking a Senior Support Technician to deliver high-quality ICT support and ensure availability of systems and telephony across the College Group, with emphasis on Mac ecosystems. You will provide 2nd and 3rd line support, investigate complex issues, and oversee Support Technicians to maintain service levels and procedures across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or equivalent in ICT.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Office.
• Experience in hardware/software installation, AV technology and printers.
• Experience diagnosing issues in a PC/Mac environment and knowledge of Apple/Microsoft system management tools.
• Understanding of Apple/Microsoft system management tools and OS knowledge.
• Knowledge of network technologies, Active Directory, network topologies and services, wireless technologies, LAN/WAN concepts and Unix/Linux.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd and 3rd line ICT support.
• Oversee day-to-day work of Support Technicians.
• Ensure requests are resolved within agreed SLAs and across College sites.
• Support end-user IT equipment including PCs, Macs, AV gear and peripherals.
