Job summary

Retail Human Resources plc is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to support and maintain complex IT across its UK estate, including stores, Head Office and warehouse operations.

You will coordinate IT readiness for new openings, refurbishments and relocations, work with suppliers, and roll out infrastructure and POS systems while maintaining documentation and mentoring teammates. A senior, proactive problem-solver is ideal.

Qualifications

• Experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer with strong grounding in Windows Server, Windows Desktop, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking and troubleshooting.
• Retail or multi-site IT experience is advantageous, with a practical, proactive and curious approach.
• Able to step into a senior position and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain IT infrastructure across the estate, focusing on readiness for new store openings and refurbishments.
• Coordinate with third‑party suppliers and deliver infrastructure and POS rollouts, plus networking, servers and end‑user tech.
• Develop, document and maintain technical standards; mentor teammates and share knowledge.
• Conduct store openings, closures and relocations; participate in a on‑call rota and occasional store visits.
