Axiom Technologies is seeking a skilled IT Hardware Support Engineer to install, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware and related systems, providing end-user support and ensuring smooth IT operations.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in IT Support / ISM Technician / Desktop Support, strong hardware diagnostics, knowledge of Windows OS and Active Directory, basic networking, and experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, with on-site and remote assistance across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in IT Support / ISM Technician / Desktop Support.
• Strong knowledge of hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Windows OS environments, Active Directory, and basic networking.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and user support skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT asset inventory, including tracking, allocation, and lifecycle management.
• Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance for desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.
• Software troubleshooting and support for operating systems, business apps and productivity tools.
• Install, configure, and deploy new hardware and software per standards.
• Support user account management and basic administration in Active Directory.
• Assist with system imaging, device provisioning and OS installations.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP).
• Manage tickets through ITSM tools while ensuring SLA adherence.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for hardware replacements and escalations.
• Maintain documentation of IT assets, configurations and support procedures.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to end users.
