Job summary

Geotab Inc. is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer (Segment) to drive technical pre-sales success across large fleet opportunities. You will run discovery sessions, deliver technical demos, and pilots while aligning Geotab solutions to customer needs.

You will develop segment knowledge, lead projects with partners, and provide market feedback to Product Management. You will work closely with channel and sales teams, articulate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences, and mentor

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in a technical field related to solutions engineering or sales engineering.
• Business acumen with a focus on revenue growth through prospect and pre-sales engagements.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to address customer challenges.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including sales, product, and support.
• Customer-focused mindset with commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Experience in mentoring, guiding and leading team members to better solutions.
• Proven ability to lead training sessions for audiences with varying technical backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical pre-sales success across large and strategic fleet opportunities.
• Run discovery sessions, technical demos, pilots, and POCs to position Geotab solutions.
• Develop segment knowledge contributing to playbooks and knowledge bases.
• Lead strategic projects with partners and third-party integrators.
• Provide market feedback to Product Management and collaborate with Channel teams.
• Collaborate with Business Development to drive growth with large/enterprise fleets.
• Document opportunities and projects using Jira and Salesforce for traceability.
• Mentor solutions engineers and share best practices.
