Job summary

The Environment Agency Pension Fund (EAPF) is an open defined benefit scheme within the LGPS. We manage over £5 billion for 40,000 members and seek an exceptional Investment Analyst to oversee LPPI-related activities and the Fund's sustainable investment strategy.

The role focuses on responsible investment, climate and biodiversity considerations, and engagement with a wide range of stakeholders. Flexible working arrangements are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience investing across asset classes and knowledge of responsible investment.
• Understanding of climate science and natural capital relevant to investing.
• Familiarity with LGPS and pooling processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide input to the Fund's strategic investment direction.
• Identify and discuss green growth opportunities with LPPI.
• Monitor investments in public and private markets.
• Advise on climate change and biodiversity impacts of investments.
• Provide assurance on LPPI's work through partnership activities.
• Report progress to Investment Oversight Group and Pensions Committee.
• Engage with members, media and public on investment approach.
