Job Description

Kenect Recruitment is seeking a Service Engineer for fire and security systems based in Northern Ireland, with travel across NI and ROI. The role offers a salary of £30,000 - £35,000 DOE, and is full-time and permanent.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance, emergency repairs, and system upgrades on a range of fire and security systems. This includes:

1. Conducting preventative maintenance and reactive service work on fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control systems, and emergency lighting.
2. Fault finding and diagnostics to ensure systems are safe and efficient.
3. Providing onsite repairs and technical support with high customer service standards.
4. Maintaining accurate service records using digital software.
5. Coordinating with field managers and support teams to deliver timely service.
6. Ensuring compliance with industry regulations (BAFE, NSI Gold).
7. Identifying risks and recommending upgrades or improvements.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience servicing fire and/or security systems.
• CSR Card.
• Strong fault-finding skills and technical knowledge across multiple platforms.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proactive, flexible attitude towards working hours and travel.
• Full UK driving license.
• Knowledge of compliance standards and digital reporting systems.
