Job Description:

Kenect Recruitment is seeking a Senior Install Service Engineer to join a well-established provider of fire and security solutions. The role is based in Luton, Bedfordshire, and involves working on fire and security systems, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct planned preventative maintenance and reactive service work on fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control systems, and emergency lighting.
2. Perform fault finding and diagnostics to ensure systems operate safely and efficiently.
3. Provide onsite repairs and technical support, ensuring high standards of customer service.
4. Maintain accurate service records using digital software.
5. Liaise with field line managers and back-office support for timely service delivery.
6. Ensure all work complies with relevant industry standards (BAFE, NSI Gold).
7. Identify potential risks and recommend upgrades or improvements.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience servicing fire and/or security systems.
• CSR Card.
• Strong fault-finding skills and technical knowledge across multiple platforms.
• Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
• Proactive and flexible attitude towards working hours and travel.
• Full UK driving license.
• Knowledge of compliance standards and digital reporting systems.
