Job Description:

Kenect Recruitment is seeking a Senior Install Service Engineer to join a well-established provider of fire and security solutions. This full-time, permanent role is based in Stevenage and involves working across the region to install and service fire and security systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair fire and security systems including alarms, CCTV, access control, and emergency lighting.
2. Conduct planned preventative maintenance and reactive service work.
3. Perform fault finding and diagnostics to ensure system safety and efficiency.
4. Provide onsite repairs and technical support, ensuring high customer service standards.
5. Maintain accurate service records using digital software.
6. Coordinate with field line managers and support teams to deliver professional service.
7. Ensure compliance with industry standards (BAFE, NSI Gold).
8. Identify potential risks and recommend upgrades or improvements.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Experience servicing fire and/or security systems.
2. CSR Card.
3. Strong fault-finding skills and technical knowledge across multiple platforms.
4. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
5. Proactive, flexible, and willing to travel.
6. Full UK driving license.
7. Knowledge of compliance standards and digital reporting systems.
