Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support customer environments across a varied hands-on role. You will combine remote support with regular customer-site activity, covering infrastructure, Microsoft technologies, hardware, software and security.

Your responsibilities include diagnosing faults on customer sites, managing incidents in the ticketing system, and providing timely updates while meeting service levels. Strong collaboration with external providers is essential.

Qualifications

5+ years in a relevant IT role with hands-on infrastructure experience.
Cyber Essentials and GDPR security implementation mandatory.
MS 365 core services expertise including Email, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive.
Strong documentation and customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

Provide technical assistance to customers and act as a reliable point of contact.
Attend customer locations to diagnose faults, carry out repairs and maintenance.
Manage support incidents through the ticketing system and update customers promptly.
Escalate critical issues to Management when appropriate.
Review workload daily and own required actions.
Monitor customer infrastructure to ensure operational requirements are met.
Deploy, test, maintain and troubleshoot hardware and software.
Document technical work and keep service tickets up to date.
Take ownership of urgent incidents, remotely or on-site.
