Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support customer environments with a mix of remote and on-site work. The role covers infrastructure, Microsoft technologies, hardware, software and security in a hands-on capacity.

You will diagnose faults at customer sites, manage incidents, provide timely updates, and ensure service levels are maintained. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in a relevant IT role with hands-on infrastructure experience.
• Security implementation: Cyber Essentials and GDPR (mandatory).
• MS 365 core services administration (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) (mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to customers and act as a reliable point of contact.
• Attend customer locations to diagnose faults, carry out repairs and complete scheduled maintenance.
• Manage support incidents and requests through the ticketing system.
• Provide customers with timely updates and ensure service levels are met.
• Escalate critical technical problems to Management as needed.
• Review workload and priorities daily and take action accordingly.
• Monitor customer infrastructure to ensure operations meet business needs.
• Deploy, test, maintain and troubleshoot hardware and software.
• Accurately document work and keep service tickets up to date.
• Take ownership of urgent incidents, remotely or on-site.
