Job summary

CBRE GWS seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to support building systems across multiple locations in the United Kingdom. You will program control applications, perform commissioning, and provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers.

Required: Associate Degree in HVAC/Electrical/Mechanical with 3+ years industry experience, or 1 year in Environmental Systems; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Strong Windows/MS Office skills and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

Associate Degree in HVAC, Electrical or Mechanical required (minimum three years industry experience) or 1 year as Systems Support Representative with Environmental Systems.
Bachelor’s Degree in HVAC, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
Experience with HVAC control systems and related terminology; strong Windows-based PC proficiency (MS Word/Excel).

Responsibilities

Program control applications using various software tools for operator workstations, DDC panels, and third‑party devices.
Perform job-site system checkout, commissioning and testing per project specs.
Provide remote technical support to installers and customers; on-site support as needed.
Analyze and diagnose system issues; isolate problems and take corrective actions.
Communicate resolutions clearly to customers; document findings for follow‑up with Account Executive.
Maintain accurate paperwork; participate in on-call rotation for after‑hour responses.
