Job summary

CBRE GWS seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to provide technical support for building systems, including programming control applications and coordinating field start-up and commissioning. The role requires on-site and remote support to installers and customers across multiple locations in the UK.

Required are an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in HVAC/electrical/mechanical fields, plus several years of industry experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in HVAC, Electrical or Mechanical with 3+ years industry experience, or 1 year in Systems Support with Environmental Systems.
• Bachelor's degree in HVAC, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Program control applications for operator workstations and field devices using various software tools.
• Perform job-site system checkout, commissioning and testing per project specs and proposals.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support to installers and customers as needed.
• Diagnose system issues, isolate problems and take corrective actions where possible.
• Document problems and resolutions for customer follow-up and future reference.
