Job summary

GE Vernova's Grid Solutions team in Stafford is seeking a Senior Project Planner to own erection and commissioning schedules for HV substation equipment across the United Kingdom and Central/Northern Europe.

You will develop detailed plans using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, align site activities with master schedules, and lead schedule risk analysis with regular updates and forecasts. This permanent hybrid role involves travel to project sites and collaboration with regional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and scheduling complex engineering projects.
• Hands-on with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Coordinate inputs across multiple teams and locations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Develop construction, erection and commissioning schedules during ITO and execution phases.
• Integrate factory activities, deliveries and site readiness into a coordinated schedule.
• Build and maintain detailed schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Ensure schedule logic, sequencing and linkages across functions and contractors.
• Maintain alignment between site schedules and the integrated master schedule.
• Produce weekly/monthly look-ahead schedules showing priorities and risks.
