Job summary

Arup is seeking Senior Engineers in Electrical Design (Transmission) to join the High Voltage team, delivering design on UK and global projects from concept to detailed design. Opportunities span energy, transport, and infrastructure sectors, with potential for client engagement and bid support.

The candidate should have MSc/MEng/BEng in Electrical Engineering, be or working toward IET chartered status, and be adept with major design tools and safety practices.

Qualifications

• MSc, MEng or BEng in Electrical Engineering / Electrical Power Systems.
• Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership with the IET.
• Experience in design of EHV (400kV-132kV) electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical design and power systems design on HV projects.
• Lead technical delivery and coordinate with other engineering disciplines.
• Support bids and business development initiatives.
