Location: Hybrid in Manchester, London, or Leyton, UK

Position Summary

The Sr. HR Business Partner is responsible for providing strategic partnership and consultation to their respective business leaders and units. The Sr. HRBP will advise on HR aspects of business decisions, ensuring alignment with company culture and practices to enhance organizational success. This hands-on role provides daily HR services in employee and leadership development, employee relations, coaching, performance management, and training needs identification.

Responsibilities
  1. Act as the primary contact for employees and managers in the assigned client group, building strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  2. Develop a deep understanding of the business to proactively support HR initiatives and processes.
  3. Identify opportunities for HR strategic influence within client groups and set objectives with leaders.
  4. Drive leadership development, coaching, and performance management.
  5. Partner with management to optimize people, strategy, structure, process, and culture, facilitating HR services as needed.
  6. Conduct regular meetings with leaders to review talent, performance, development, and organizational design.
  7. Support HR-related programs, policies, and initiatives, including leaves of absence.
  8. Participate in HR policy and program development in collaboration with the HR team.
  9. Develop programs or tools to improve morale and retention.
  10. Utilize HR principles and industry standards in analyzing information and projects.
  11. Process reports from HR systems (e.g., ADP Workforce Now) to analyze trends and inform management.
  12. Ensure employee data accuracy and conduct audits for payroll reviews.
  13. Assist in planning and executing employee recognition events.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal); proficiency in French and/or German is highly preferred.
  • Understanding of UK and French labor laws.
  • Knowledge of HR practices, including employment law.
  • Experience with HR systems like ADP Workforce Now is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, influencing ability, and change management aptitude.
  • Ability to collaborate and analyze HR data for trends.
  • Willingness to work tactically and strategically.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure and adapt to change.
  • Willing to travel occasionally to Paris and Germany.
Experience, Training, and Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ full-time HR experience.
  • At least 3-5 years in an HR Business Partner or similar role, focusing on management collaboration.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
