Job summary

Shirley Parsons is seeking a Senior Health & Safety Advisor based in the Northwest (Manchester/Liverpool/Leeds) with hands-on experience across infrastructure environments. The role involves frequent travel to multiple sites and a focus on driving HSEQ excellence.

You will lead investigations, promote a proactive safety culture, and autonomously manage your diary and workload while collaborating with site teams to ensure best-practice safety standards are applied across projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in health & safety in infrastructure environments (civil engineering or construction).
• NEBOSH Certificate required at minimum.
• Willing to travel across the Northwest region 3–4 days a week or as needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive best-practice health, safety, environment and quality across sites.
• Lead on accident investigations and root-cause analysis to implement improvements.
• Support the team in creating a positive HSEQ culture across projects.
• Manage internal & external stakeholders and coordinate with site teams.
