Job summary

Shirley Parsons is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor/Manager for an urgent Teesside project with on-site work, moving to a permanent Midlands-based role. The position offers a salary up to £55,000 plus accommodation and benefits.

The successful candidate will conduct site inspections, support risk assessments, investigate incidents, deliver toolbox talks, and provide practical safety guidance to project teams while ensuring legislative and company compliance across complex construction

Qualifications

NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum).
IOSH Membership (or working towards).
Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

Conducting site inspections, audits and compliance reviews.
Supporting project teams with risk assessments and safe systems of work.
Investigating incidents, near misses and non-conformances.
Delivering toolbox talks and health & safety briefings.
Providing practical advice and support to site management teams.
Monitoring compliance with legislative and company requirements.
Developing strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors and operational teams.
Promoting continuous improvement across health and safety performance.
