Job summary

Shirley Parsons is seeking a proactive QHSE Advisor to provide quality, health, safety and environmental support across a busy operational and project environment in the United Kingdom. The role will back construction activities, project delivery, compliance programmes and environmental initiatives, helping teams work safely while meeting legal and organisational requirements.

NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) required.
Experience supporting health, safety and/or environmental compliance.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Organised, proactive and able to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day QHSE advice to operational and project teams.
Maintain QHSE records, reports and compliance documentation.
Support incident investigations, audits, inspections and corrective actions.
Assist with environmental compliance, including waste management and site inspections.
Review risk assessments and method statements for projects.
Support CDM compliance for construction activities.
Promote a positive safety culture and environmental awareness.
