Job summary

Shirley Parsons is recruiting on behalf of a global engineering and technology leader to appoint an HSE Advisor for Hampshire operations and wider UK activities. The role focuses on promoting a positive safety culture, ensuring compliance with HSE legislation and supporting manufacturing, project and service environments.

You will provide day-to-day HSE support at Eastleigh, deliver training, lead audits and investigations, and contribute to the ongoing development of risk assessments and safe

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) required.
• Strong knowledge of UK Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
• Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or related technical environment.
• Excellent communication and IT skills, proactive attitude to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HSE support across the Eastleigh facility and project and service operations.
• Deliver HSE training, communications and support to operational teams, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Conduct audits, inspections, incident investigations and near-miss reviews, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
• Support development and improvement of management systems, risk assessment processes, safe systems of work and wider QHSE initiatives.
