Job summary

Winsearch is seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to drive health, safety, environmental and quality improvements on site in Manchester. The role requires NEBOSH qualification, site audits, and strong stakeholder engagement across UK and Ireland.

The successful candidate will implement and maintain ISO standards, promote a proactive safety culture, and travel regularly to support operational teams while ensuring compliance with legislation.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH IGC, Diploma or equivalent HSEQ qualification.
• Previous HSEQ Advisor, Compliance Officer or similar experience.
• Strong understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation and management systems.
• Experience conducting audits, inspections and incident investigations.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards.
• Ability to influence operational teams and promote a positive safety culture.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly, including occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Supporting operational teams across multiple sites.
• Conducting audits, inspections and compliance reviews.
• Investigating accidents, incidents and near misses.
• Producing reports and analysing HSEQ performance data.
• Developing risk assessments, method statements and safety documentation.
• Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of HSEQ management systems.
• Engaging with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure best practice.
• Promoting a positive, proactive and compliant safety culture across the business.
