Job summary

Precept Recruit is partnering with a Hucknall-based manufacturing business to recruit a Senior HR Advisor for an interim (3-6 months) or permanent role. The position offers £45,000–£55,000 with an immediate start and a hands-on HR remit in a busy operational environment.

You will manage complex employee relations, support organisational change, coach managers, and handle the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit.

Qualifications

• Senior HR generalist experience at advisor/manager/BP level.
• Significant employee relations experience.
• Experience supporting organisational change or workforce restructuring.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex employee relations cases (discipline, grievances, absence, performance).
• Support organisational change initiatives and working practices.
• Coach and advise managers through challenging people issues.
• Support full employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit.
• Prepare employment documentation and maintain HR records.
• Collaborate with operational leaders to provide practical HR support.
• Balance strategic thinking with hands-on HR delivery.
