Executive Network Group is seeking an experienced Interim Senior HR Advisor in Nottingham to support around 80 permanent staff and up to 50 temporary workers during peaks. The role focuses on workforce planning, policy improvement, and change management, including potential introduction of annualised hours.

Hybrid model: 1 day per week from home, ASAP start. You will coach managers, handle employee relations, and oversee payroll-related administration.

Interim Senior HR Advisor

Location: Nottingham Salary: Up to GBP50,000 Contract: 6 months, with potential to become permanent Working pattern: 1 day per week from home Start: ASAP - immediate availability essential

The OpportunityWe are looking for an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join an established organisation on an interim basis, with an immediate start.

Based at the Nottingham site, you will support approximately 80 permanent employees, alongside up to 50 temporary staff during seasonal peaks. A key focus will be supporting workforce planning and changes to working arrangements, including the potential introduction of annualised hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and improve HR policies, processes and service delivery.
• Coach and influence managers, promoting a more proactive and commercially focused approach to HR.
• Provide hands‑on employee relations support across disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance matters.
• Support organisational change, consultation and reviews of shift patterns, working hours and terms and conditions.
• Oversee employee lifecycle administration and coordinate payroll‑related activity.

About You

You will be an experienced HR generalist with strong employee relations knowledge, ideally gained within manufacturing, distribution or another operational environment. You will be confident influencing stakeholders, supporting workforce change and identifying opportunities to improve HR processes.

A pragmatic, commercially minded approach and the ability to hit the ground running are essential.
