Overview

Senior HR Adviser - Education Sector - South Birmingham - up to £38,000 with LGPS and 30 days holiday

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Adviser or HR Manager to join an established education organisation based in South Birmingham and work as part of a great team!

Reporting into the Director of Support Services you will be responsible for providing effective HR advice and guidance to managers and colleagues across the organisation. Your key accountabilities will include:

Responsibilities
  • Providing initial HR advice and guidance on HR issues including on absence and performance management
  • Overseeing recruitment processes including onboarding and vetting
  • Using HR metrics to drive HR improvement
  • Working closely with third parties including HR Consultants
  • Managing the HR Officer as well as working closely with Director of Support Services and other senior stakeholders
Requirements / Qualifications

You should be an HR Generalist with a good knowledge of HR best practice including a solid understanding of employment law and experience of managing recruitment processes. Experience of working with HR systems needs to be combined with strong communication skills and an eagerness to work in a fast paced environment.
