Milton Keynes City Council is recruiting a Tenancy Sustainment Manager to lead our Tenancy Sustainment Service within Housing Operations.

At the heart of this role is helping residents stay in their homes when rent arrears, anti-social behaviour or other challenges put tenancy at risk.

You will lead colleagues, oversee complex cases, and ensure decisions are proportionate, person-centred and legally compliant, while building strong partnerships to prevent eviction and homelessness.

Qualifikationen

• Housing knowledge and safeguarding understanding.
• Experience supporting tenants with complex needs and rent arrears.
• Ability to lead and manage teams while monitoring performance.

Aufgaben

• Lead and manage the Tenancy Sustainment Service, supporting your team to deliver timely interventions for tenants at risk.
• Oversee complex and high-risk cases, ensuring decisions are proportionate, person-centred and legally compliant.
• Develop and coach Tenancy Sustainment Officers through supervision and performance management.
• Collaborate with council services and partners to identify at-risk residents early.
• Monitor outcomes and service performance to prevent evictions and homelessness.
