Job summary

Milton Keynes City Council is recruiting a Housing Officer to join our Housing Operations service and provide a comprehensive tenancy management service to residents across Milton Keynes.

You’ll help residents understand their tenancy rights and responsibilities, manage tenancy matters and respond to complex issues including anti-social behaviour, housing fraud and concerns about tenancy sustainment, while working with partners to protect vulnerable residents and create safe, sustainable

Qualifications

• Professional housing management qualification or substantial equivalent experience.
• Sound knowledge of secure tenancy management and related legislation.
• Ability to visit different locations and hold a UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a comprehensive tenancy management service, including sign-ups, exchanges, successions and introductory tenancies.
• Complete tenancy audits and investigate occupancy, property condition, breaches, safeguarding, fraud or subletting.
