Job summary

WMJobs, on behalf of Bromsgrove and Redditch Councils, is seeking a Senior Technical Support Officer to support the Housing Service in delivering quality services and ensuring financial processes are accurate and compliant.

You will manage the Housing Technical Support Team's day-to-day activities, handle rent reviews, BACS processing, benefits entitlements and reconcile payments, while contributing to new technology and process improvements across the Housing Service.

Qualifications

• Minimum A Level (or equivalent) Maths, English and Computer Sciences/ICT
• At least 2 years experience in an IT or Finance environment

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day activities of the Housing Technical Support Team.
• Ensure the smooth delivery of all financial processes within the Housing Service including the annual rent review, BACS processing, Benefit entitlements, investigating lost payments and ensuring they are reconciled.
• Provide effective business support for colleagues across the service, working in partnership to understand their needs and deliver support and solutions that help to deliver on shared business objectives.
