Job summary

Situated in North Worcestershire, Bromsgrove District Council and Redditch Borough Council share services. The Senior Housing Technical Support Officer will support the Housing Service, delivering quality data and business intelligence to improve services for customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Minimum A Level (or equivalent) Maths, English and Computer Sciences/ICT.
• At least 2 years experience in an IT or Finance environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day activities of the Housing Technical Support Team.
• Ensure the smooth delivery of all financial processes within the Housing Service including the annual rent review, BACS processing, Benefit entitlements, investigating lost payments and ensuring they are reconciled.
• Provide effective business support for colleagues across the service, working in partnership to understand their needs and deliver support and solutions that help to deliver on shared business objectives.
