We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Senior Housing Officer on an FTC for a minimum of 11 months in Liverpool. This is a full-time, office-based role, with a requirement to work outside office hours on occasion for evening meetings, and to participate in an Out of Hours duty rota once every 5 weeks.
We're looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic, and customer-focused individual to join the team. You'll be directly managing 3 staff members, so experience in line management is essential. You will also require a driving licence with access to your own vehicle, with valid business insurance.
Delivery of housing management services across a small patch, including lettings, rent arrears control, voids, and tenancy management.
Overseeing complaints Handling Code and submission & monitoring of annual performance reports.
Preparing reports for resident committees, attending resident meetings, and providing administrative support.
Assisting with the development and implementation of improvement plans for the service.
Working closely with colleagues, stakeholders, and other teams to maintain and build positive relationships.
Carrying out project work as required on behalf of the Directors/Chief Exec.
A minimum of 12 months' housing management experience with line management responsibilities.
Strong knowledge and understanding of housing legislation and good practice, including the complaints Handling Code.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Managing projects and complex casework.
Able to attend evening meetings, work on an on-call rota, and work from the office 5 days per week.
Driving licence with access to own vehicle and valid business insurance.
An 11-month FTC with the possibility of extension if required.
Support with undertaking relevant professional qualifications.
