Job summary

ExtraCare Charitable Trust seeks a Housing Manager to lead social housing regulatory compliance, ensuring RSH Consumer Standards are met and tenancy management is robust. You will manage regulatory assurance, resident involvement and complaints learning across multiple locations.

The role requires strategic leadership, strong stakeholder partnerships and a commitment to inclusive, resident-centred services for older people in integrated retirement communities.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in housing management or related social housing environment with regulatory leadership credibility.
• Strong knowledge of the Regulator of Social Housing framework, Consumer Standards and tenancy management.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into policy and practice.

Responsibilities

• Act as strategic lead for social housing regulatory compliance across services.
• Develop and maintain a housing compliance and assurance framework with evidence gathering and risk reporting.
• Lead interpretation and implementation of Consumer Standards across safety, quality, tenancy management and transparency.
• Support locations with tenancy management, including sign-ups, breaches, and safeguarding.
• Build strong relationships with housing partners to meet resident expectations.
• Stay updated on housing legislation and regulatory requirements, updating policy and training.
