Job summary

NoMad London is seeking a Senior Host to guide guests through our dining spaces, with in-depth knowledge of all venues, menus and our cocktail programme. You will aid in managing table turns and guest requests, and you’ll communicate clearly with Host Supervisor, servers and kitchen to ensure every guest is seated on time.

Responsibilities

• Full and comprehensive knowledge of the OpenTable reservations system
• In-depth knowledge of each outlet within the venue including table capacities, procedures, and team dynamics
• Comprehensive understanding of both the company and the building’s history
• 100-level knowledge of all beverage menus
• 100-level knowledge of all food menus
• Be the face of the outlet by greeting and leading the guests to their appropriate table or bar seating.
• Facilitating all guest requests where possible and finding the 'yes' where not possible.
• Aiding and assisting the Guest Relations team with any requests made by the guest and ensuring effective communication cross all departments.

OVERVIEW OF ROLE
Hosts are responsible for guiding our guests through our dining spaces. They must have an in-depth understanding of all venues, all bar and restaurant menus, and our cocktail programme. Hosts play a pivotal role in the flow of service and are in constant communication with the Host Supervisor, Servers, kitchen Servers, and management regarding table turns, guest requests, and the status of each table in the dining spaces. They may also help to re-set tables and drive the flow of the dining room to ensure that we seat all guests on time.
