Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Highways Engineer to deliver safe, practical highways design solutions for clients across the UK, including National Highways, Transport Scotland and the Welsh Government. You will own key design deliverables, identify automation opportunities, and help maintain programme and budget integrity.

You will mentor team members, collaborate with multi-disciplinary leads, and contribute to major transport programmes across our growing UK hub network.

Qualifications

• Design experience in transportation and the built environment.
• Degree in engineering with professional registration (CEng/IEng or equivalent).
• Technical experience delivering local/major highways projects or land-side alignment elements in adjacent markets.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, practical, commercially sound highways design solutions for clients.
• Take ownership of key design deliverables and identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Mentor and support less experienced team members and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
