Alfred Recruitment LLP is seeking a Senior Highway / Infrastructure Design Engineer in Manchester with hybrid working. You will lead highway and infrastructure design projects from concept through to construction-ready plans, deliver active travel schemes, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, mentoring, and collaboration with local authorities to ensure compliance with standards and successful submissions.

• Experience delivering highway and infrastructure design projects.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Proven track record of technical leadership on complex schemes.

Mansioni

• Lead highway and infrastructure design projects from concept to construction-ready design.
• Deliver highway layouts, active travel schemes and road-space reallocation projects.
• Prepare Section 278 and Section 38 submissions.
• Produce 3D vertical highway designs using Civil 3D.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary projects ensuring quality and standards.
• Mentor and guide junior colleagues.
