Job summary

RGB Network is seeking a Senior Highway / Infrastructure Design Engineer in Manchester to take ownership of highway and infrastructure design packages from concept through construction-ready detail. You will collaborate with engineers, planners and specialists to deliver safe, sustainable infrastructure solutions and mentor junior colleagues in a busy, multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

Experience delivering designs from concept through to construction-ready stages.
Proficiency in Civil 3D, including 3D vertical highway design.
Experience preparing Section 278 and Section 38 submissions.
Knowledge of UK highway design standards and local authority requirements.
Membership of ICE, CIHT or equivalent; chartership would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

Deliver highway and infrastructure design projects from concept to detailed design and construction.
Produce highway layouts and 3D models using Civil 3D.
Prepare Section 278/Section 38 submissions for highway schemes.
Contribute to active travel, sustainable transport and road-space projects.
Mentor junior engineers and support multidisciplinary teams.
Ensure designs meet UK standards and client requirements.
