Job summary

RGB seeks a Highway Engineer in Northampton on a permanent basis, joining a Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy delivering multidisciplinary services worth over £30 million. Duties include highway and drainage design, preparing technical reports, drawings, and supporting planning submissions.

You will hold an engineering degree and be proficient with AutoCAD or Civil 3D, with strong knowledge of UK highway standards.

Qualifications

• Any relevant engineering degree required.
• Strong knowledge of UK highway standards.
• Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD or Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Highway and drainage design for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
• Prepare designs, drawings, calculations, specs and technical reports.
• Support Section 38/278 submissions and planning applications.
• Liaise with clients, planning consultants and authorities.
• Support project delivery to programme and budget.
