Zusammenfassung

GXO Logistics in Milton Keynes is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to lead the HSE and facilities strategy. You will partner with senior stakeholders to drive the Road to Zero safety program and ensure legal compliance across the operation.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will champion continuous improvement, manage audits and contractor activities, and embed a proactive safety culture in a high-visibility role.

Qualifikationen

• This role requires 3+ years in a Health & Safety leadership position within a complex, fast-paced operation.
• NEBOSH General Certificate or NVQ Level 3 at minimum; additional qualifications such as IOSH, Fire Safety, Environmental or DGSA desirable.
• Membership of a recognised Health & Safety professional body.
• Proven experience managing compliance, audits, investigations, policies and continuous improvement within logistics or automated environments.
• Strong leadership, coaching and stakeholder management to influence change and drive safety performance.

Aufgaben

• Lead the site's Health, Safety and Environmental strategy ensuring compliance with legislation and GXO standards.
• Oversee facilities, engineering and contractor management for safe site operations.
• Manage incident reporting, investigations, risk assessments and corrective actions to reduce risk.
• Lead audit activity, compliance programmes and risk improvement plans with timely actions.
• Coach and support managers on QHSE, training needs and legislative compliance.
