Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Health and Safety Manager to lead the HSEQ strategy across national transport sites, influencing around 300 colleagues and embedding a world-class safety culture. The role partners with senior leaders to improve performance, reduce risk and protect our people.

Covering 16 sites with core hours 08:00–17:00, Monday–Friday, this full-time role requires Midlands-based presence to support operations and drive continuous improvement across the network.

Qualifications

• Experience leading HSEQ in transport/logistics or multi-site environments.
• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and risk management.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive sustainable change.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HSEQ strategy across multiple transport sites and drive compliance.
• Improve safety performance through audits, inspections and risk assessments.
• Lead incident investigations with robust root-cause analysis.
• Strengthen governance, audits and customer standards to maintain excellence.
• Develop capability and influence stakeholders to improve HSEQ performance.
