Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Desford is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to champion SHEQ standards and foster a proactive safety culture on site. This full-time role involves leading the safety agenda and coaching leaders, with a focus on compliance and continuous improvement.

You will drive incident investigations, data analysis, and development of safety systems to meet client and regulatory requirements. Mon-Fri, 37.5 hours; salary £55,000–£65,000 per annum.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma required with extensive SHEQ management experience.
• Experience leading SHEQ across multiple sites in logistics or similar environments.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent incident investigation and risk management expertise.
• Proficient in analyzing and reporting SHEQ metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement the contract's Health & Safety strategy across the site.
• Provide coaching to operational leaders to improve safety performance and culture.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses to prevent recurrence.
• Analyze SHEQ data to identify risks and drive improvement across sites.
• Develop, implement and review safety management systems and SSOWs.
