Qualifications

• Band 7 HCPC registered senior Biomedical Scientist in Haematology.
• Ability to supervise and train junior staff, both biomedical scientists and medical laboratory assistants.
• Deputising for the Lead BMS Haematology as required.

Responsabilités

• Carry out a wide range of laboratory investigations in Haematology.
• Adhere to quality procedures in line with ISO 15189:2022.
• Work 24/7 service requirements and participate in out-of-hours rota after training.
• Analyse, interpret and report complex investigations with timely turnaround.
• Organise and participate in training, supervision, and development of Haematology staff.
• Deputise in the absence of the Lead BMS Haematology as required.
