Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the UK seeks a Geotechnical Engineer or Senior Geotechnical Engineer to support our expanding portfolio of prestigious projects in the South East and beyond. The role focuses on ground engineering, BIM-enabled design, and collaborative problem solving across sectors including rail, highways, water and energy.

You will join a hybrid-working team based around Epsom, with opportunities for UK and overseas assignments.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil engineering with postgraduate geotechnical qualification
• Chartered status or nearing Chartered status
• Experience in fast-moving engineering consultancy environments
• Ability to travel on short assignments UK and overseas
• Valid UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical design teams and deliver projects
• Liaise with clients and manage stakeholder expectations
• Conduct finite element analysis and numerical modelling for geotechnical problems
