AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Buildings & Places multi-disciplinary design service, delivering diverse civil infrastructure projects across defence, education, public realm and aviation. You will work from early concept through to construction with mentoring from senior engineers and contribute to drainage, roads and external works.

Qualifications

• Honors Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred) or HND or equivalent experience.
• Working towards Chartered Civil Engineer (MICE).
• Experience in drainage, utilities, pavements, earthworks, access and construction logistics.
• Knowledge of current UK design standards and practices.
• Good communication and report writing skills.
• Ability to use AutoCAD and Civils 3D; Revit BIM 360 desirable.
• Experience with Infodrainage or Flow hydraulic modelling; swept path analysis in AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to delivery of small to medium infrastructure projects within a technically focused design.
• Produce designs in line with relevant standards and codes.
• Ensure efficient and high-quality engineering services.
• Manage own time effectively.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary design team.
• Comply with Quality and Technical Assurance Procedures.
• Follow BIM standards and the BIM Execution Plan; engage with digital engineering initiatives.
