Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is looking for a Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist to join our UK team. You will work on a wide range of geotechnical projects across infrastructure and energy sectors, applying robust ground investigation and design techniques.

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, engage with clients, and may travel domestically and overseas for short assignments. A relevant degree and geotechnical postgraduate qualification are essential, with chartered status preferred.

Qualifications

• A degree in civil engineering or geology/geoscience and a post graduate qualification in a geotechnical subject.
• Chartered status or nearing Chartered status.
• Experience in ground investigation techniques and geotechnical design of structures, foundations and earthworks.
• Experience in numerical software such as Geostudio, Repute, Wallap.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with clients and engineers from other disciplines.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and overseas.
• A valid UK driving licence.
