Job summary

Arup is seeking a Senior / Principal Geotechnical Engineer to lead geotechnical projects across the Wales and West geography. You will guide design teams from early site investigation through to construction, delivering safe, sustainable, and buildable solutions.

A strong track record in geotechnical design and client collaboration is essential. You will lead desktop studies, plan investigations, develop ground models, and manage ground risk while applying UK standards.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in geotechnical design across foundations, walls, earthworks.
• Ability to lead desktop studies, plan ground investigations, and manage ground risk.
• Experience applying UK specifications for ground investigations and earthworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead design teams on geotechnical projects across sectors.
