Job summary

Arup is seeking Geotechnical Engineers to join its North UK Ground Engineering team. You will deliver geotechnical work from site investigation through design and construction, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams across offices including Glasgow and beyond.

The role requires a recognised Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology qualification, ICE or equivalent professional status, and a proactive, collaborative approach to complex ground problems. Visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Recognised tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology.
• Professional qualification with ICE or equivalent bodies, or working towards one.
• Experience in geotechnical design for foundations, retaining walls, earthworks, slopes and buried structures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver geotechnical engineering work for projects spanning a wide range of markets and locations.
• Lead from early ground investigation through to design and construction support.
• Act as focal point between design and construction partners to solve technical challenges.
