Job summary

Arup is seeking Geotechnical Engineers to join our Ground Engineering team in the North of the UK, including Manchester. You will deliver geotechnical work across energy, water, transport and built environment projects, from site investigation through to design and construction, acting as a bridge between design and construction partners.

You will bring a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology and be working towards ICE or an equivalent professional credential, with a

• Experience in geotechnical design for foundations, retaining walls, earthworks and buried structures.
• Desktop studies, planning and interpretation of ground investigations and lab results.
• Ability to analyse field and lab data to develop ground models and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver geotechnical engineering work for projects across markets and locations.
• Act as focal point between design and construction partners.
• Contribute from early site investigation through to design and construction.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to meet client needs and project objectives.
