Job summary

Arup in the North of the UK seeks Geotechnical Engineers to join our established ground engineering team, delivering geotechnical design for projects across energy, water, transport and the built environment from early site investigation through to design and construction.

You will collaborate with design and construction partners, apply ground engineering expertise, and develop your technical and professional skills within a supportive, inclusive Arup environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Civil Engineer or Engineering Geologist with ICE or equivalent body membership.
• Experience in geotechnical design for foundations, earthworks and slopes.
• Experience with desktop studies, planning and interpretation of ground investigations and lab/in-situ tests.

Responsibilities

• Deliver geotechnical engineering work for projects across energy, water, transport and built environment.
• Act as focal point between design and construction partners from early site investigation through to design and construction.
• Collaborate with teams to develop ground models and site-specific geotechnical solutions.
