Qualifications

• BEng in Civil Engineering with geotechnical bias or geoscience degree.
• MSc/MEng in Geotechnical Engineering or similar qualification.
• Chartered Engineer or awaiting Professional Review.
• Well-rounded geotechnical design including foundations, walls, and slope stability.
• Desirable experience with Finite Element Analysis (e.g. Plaxis).
• Post-graduate experience across planning, supervising, and design.

Responsibilities

• Support and drive engineering solutions within projects.
• Independently manage routine and complex projects with guidance.
• Oversee resources for single or multi-project deliveries.
• Collaborate with design disciplines to ensure integrated outcomes.
• Provide technical input and champion quality and innovation.
• Ensure deliverables comply with project requirements and standards.
• Engage with commercial aspects: contracts, invoicing, debt management.
• Liaise with Project Director/Manager and client stakeholders.
• Review geotechnical calculations and deliverables from juniors.
• Develop team members and promote health and safety adherence.
