Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead geotechnical design, oversee ground investigations, and contribute to technical reporting on UK infrastructure projects.

You will work with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality outputs, ensure compliance with standards, and support client relationships. The role requires Chartered Engineer status or close to it, and the ability to travel within the UK.

Qualifications

• BEng in Civil Engineering with geotechnical bias or related degree is required.
• MSc / MEng in Geotechnical Engineering or similar is required.
• Chartered Engineer or imminently due to sit Professional Review.

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of engineering solutions.
• Independently drive routine and non-routine projects with technical guidance.
• Manage resources in single or multiple project deliveries.
• Collaborate with other design disciplines to ensure design integrity.
• Provide technical input and support to project teams and promote quality and innovation.
• Ensure deliverables (drawings, reports, specs, studies) meet project requirements.
