Job summary

WSP is seeking a Principal Geospatial Consultant to join our Transformation & Digital Insights team. You will lead GeoAI‑driven GIS workstreams for infrastructure and land projects, designing production‑grade Python workflows and integrating AI into ArcGIS environments.

You will mentor junior analysts, collaborate with cross‑disciplinary teams, and help shape our GeoAI methodology while delivering robust, data‑driven solutions for large‑scale schemes.

Qualifications

• Extensive GIS experience with Python development and automation.
• Proficient with ArcPy, ArcGIS API for Python, geopandas, shapely, rasterio, GDAL.
• Practical AI/ML application to geospatial problems (object detection, spatial prediction).
• Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow deep learning frameworks.
• Experience with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and geodatabases (File/SDE).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop GeoAI solutions using Esri tools and open‑source AI.
• Write production‑grade Python toolboxes and spatial data pipelines.
• Integrate DL frameworks into geospatial workflows at scale.
• Lead GeoAI project workstreams across utilities, land ownership, water.
• Mentor junior GIS analysts and promote best practices.
