Job summary

WSP is seeking a Principal Geospatial Consultant to advance GeoAI across infrastructure, land, and environmental projects. You will design, implement and optimise geospatial pipelines, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver data-driven insights.

You will leverage Esri platforms, Python workflows, and ML frameworks to deliver scalable solutions, staying current with technology trends and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in GIS, Geography or CS and demonstrated GIS project delivery.
• Strong Python development and automation experience.
• Hands-on GeoAI with ESRI tools and ML frameworks.
• Ability to communicate with non-GIS audiences.
• Experience delivering infrastructure, land, and environmental projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop GeoAI solutions using Esri tools and open-source frameworks.
• Write production-grade Python toolboxes and spatial pipelines.
• Integrate PyTorch/TensorFlow into geospatial workflows.
• Lead technical delivery on GeoAI project workstreams across utilities, land ownership, and environmental modelling.
• Mentor junior GIS analysts and developers.
• Produce clear technical documentation and present findings to stakeholders.
• Provide technical assurance and peer reviews of GeoAI and GIS outputs.
• Stay current with Esri releases and GeoAI tools.
