Job summary

WSP is seeking a Principal Geospatial Consultant to lead GeoAI‑driven geospatial solutions across infrastructure and land projects. You will develop production‑grade Python workflows, design spatial data pipelines, and integrate AI frameworks within GIS environments to deliver scalable insights for large multidisciplinary teams.

You will mentor junior staff, shape our GeoAI practice, and collaborate with GIS, Data Science, and engineering teams to ensure high‑quality client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Extensive GIS experience with Python focus.
• Experience applying AI/ML to geospatial problems.
• Proficient with ArcPy and ArcGIS Python APIs.
• Knowledge of deep learning (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
• Ability to communicate technical outputs to non‑GIS audiences.
• Degree in GIS/Geography/CS or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design GeoAI solutions using Esri tools and open‑source AI frameworks.
• Write production‑grade Python toolboxes and spatial data pipelines.
• Integrate deep learning into GIS workflows for scalable insights.
• Lead GeoAI project workstreams across utilities, land data, and environment.
• Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in spatial data science.
• Stay current with Esri releases and emerging GeoAI tools.
